Several months ago I purchased an aircraft engine from an auction, while it isn't anything Typhoon related, I am hoping we can find a new owner who needs it.

We have seen a few delays due to record heat here in B.C., but while I prepare the next video for you all, I want to share a milestone Rob has made with the Merlin III. This video footage is completely unedited, it will likely appear in a future episode.

With the repair complete on our Merlin, and the systems back together, it is time to begin the pre-run testing. This short clips show our first run through of tests right through to spark. While we've still got a few bugs to work out, we had to share the first functional test run. It shouldn't be long now!

Slow success as we move forwards with the testing process, lots of small adjustments. After these runs we brought her back inside and are dropping the fuel bowl; she is running rich and we suspect a float issue.

The Merlin was very rich at the end of 2022 so we pulled the carb apart and check free movement of the float, and we also installed a fuel pressure regulator to help control flow, this video is our first run after the work done over the Christmas holiday, as well as the first run of 2023.

This is the video that was put together of the final run for the new owner; upon his blessing, the deal was finalized.
